What is Kwiqr?

Kwiqr is a cross-platform event management application designed for motorsport clubs, organisers, competitors, and associations. It handles event registration, competitor management, bookings, and QR code-based check-ins.

What platforms does Kwiqr support?

Kwiqr is a cross-platform app that works on iOS, Android, and web browsers (associations only). It’s built using Ionic and Capacitor for native functionality.

How do I get started with Kwiqr?

Download the app, create an account using email/password (TBC), Google, or Apple Sign-In, and complete the onboarding process to set up your profile.

User Types & Roles

What user types are available?

  • Organiser: Manages clubs and events
  • Competitor: Participates in events (must be 18+)
  • Parent: Registers children as competitors
  • Association: Administrative forms oversite

Can I have multiple roles?

Yes, you can be both an organiser and competitor. The app will show a toggle to switch between views.

How do I change my user type?

You can add additional roles through the dashboard options menu. For example, competitors can “Become an organiser” to add organiser capabilities.

Authentication & Security

What login methods are supported?

  • Email and password
  • Google Sign-In
  • Apple Sign-In (iOS devices)

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Currently, password reset functionality is not implemented. Contact support for assistance.

Is my data secure?

Yes, Kwiqr uses secure authentication and with secure access rules. All data is encrypted and stored securely.

How do I log out?

Tap the logout button (log-out icon) in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Organiser Features

How do I create a club?

  1. Complete onboarding as an organiser
  2. Navigate to your dashboard
  3. Tap “Add Club” or use the options menu
  4. Fill in club details (name, description, contact info, address)

How do I create an event?

  1. Select a club from your dashboard
  2. Tap “Add Event”
  3. Fill in event details (name, dates, venue, tickets, etc.)
  4. Set up required association. If your sport is not part of an association, you can leave empty and default registration forms will be provided).

What information do I need for an event?

  • Event name and description
  • Start and end dates
  • Venue details
  • Ticket types and pricing
  • Required association (if applicable)
  • Permit and certificate information (if applicable)

How do I manage bookings?

View bookings through the event management interface. You can see competitor registrations, payment status, and form submissions.

Can I set up different ticket types?

Yes, you can create multiple ticket types with different pricing, age restrictions, and availability limits.

Competitor Features

How do I register for an event?

  1. Browse available events
  2. Select an event
  3. Choose ticket type
  4. Complete payment
  5. Fill out required forms
  6. Receive QR code for check-in

What is the QR code for?

The QR code is used for event check-in and verification. Organisers can scan it to confirm your attendance and access your information.

How do I manage multiple competitor profiles?

If you’re a parent, you can add child profiles. Each profile will have its own QR code and can be managed separately.

Payment & Billing

What payment methods are accepted?

Kwiqr uses Stripe for payment processing. Accepted methods include credit/debit cards and digital wallets.

How do I set up payments as an organiser?

You’ll need to complete Stripe onboarding to receive payments. This includes providing business information and bank account details.

Are there any fees?

Kwiqr fees and standard Stripe processing fees apply to organiser only. See current fees here.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policies are set by individual event organisers. Contact the event organiser directly, through the app, for refund requests. If you request a refund in the app your ticket will be immediately cancelled.

Technical Support

The app is showing the wrong view (organiser vs competitor)

  1. Log out completely
  2. Close the app
  3. Log back in
  4. If the issue persists, contact support

My QR code isn’t working

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try refreshing the app
  • Contact the event organiser if the issue persists

I can’t upload photos or documents

  • Check your device permissions
  • Ensure you have sufficient storage space
  • Try restarting the app

The app crashes or freezes

  • Close the app completely and restart
  • Update to the latest version
  • Clear app cache if the issue persists

Data & Privacy

What data does Kwiqr collect?

  • Personal information (name, email, address)

How is my data used?

How do I find events?

Browse events through the dashboard or search by location, date, or event type.

You’ll be notified of cancellations. Refund policies depend on the organiser’s terms.

How do I know if I’m confirmed for an event?

Check your booking status in the dashboard. You’ll receive confirmation once payment is processed and forms are completed.
